Request deletion in Arc
- Sign in to Arc.
- Open Settings.
- Expand Data Use & Controls.
- Choose Request account deletion, enter DELETE, and confirm the request.
Arc requires a recent authenticated session for this action. If needed, Arc will ask you to sign in again before accepting the request.
If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] to initiate a privacy or deletion request outside the authenticated flow.
Run With Arc LLC may need to verify that the request relates to the correct Arc account before acting on it. Do not send your password, authentication code, or other account secrets by email.
What happens after Arc accepts the request
Arc immediately restricts access to the account and revokes its Arc sessions. A short-lived status receipt may remain available for up to seven days so you can see whether required deletion work is still processing or complete.
Request acceptance is not the same as deletion completion. Arc uses a governed process to remove Arc-owned account and product data, managed account files, the external sign-in identity, and the remaining account shell. Arc reports completion only after the required steps have been verified.
If a required step fails or a provider is unavailable, the request remains restricted and pending rather than being reported as complete. Arc does not promise one completion timeline.
Subscriptions
If your Arc account has an active Arc web subscription, Arc must verify that the subscription is canceled before local account deletion can be completed. If cancellation cannot be verified, the deletion remains pending.
Connected services
Arc's deletion process removes Arc-held account, product, and connection records. It does not claim to delete an account or records held in Garmin or another external provider's own service.
Limited retained records
Historical backups may retain copies of deleted Arc data for up to 30 days. If a backup is restored, Arc's process requires completed deletions to be reconciled before normal service resumes.
Arc may retain limited, non-content deletion evidence for up to 12 months to document the operation and protect backup-recovery integrity. Operational logs may remain temporarily under their separate retention controls.
For the broader retention and deletion explanation, read the Arc Privacy Notice.
